We use Gravitar to display profile information and avatars. These are used in three places.
If you wish to upload a custom avatar outside of gravitar you may do that instead by uploading the image by editing your profile. A custom background image can be uploaded as well.
- As your login profile.
- Displayed on Comments to Blog Posts.
- Displayed in the Community forums.
Your Gravitar will be displayed in all of these places. The Blog (main website) comments are viewable to all users, including guests who are not required to log in. Posts in the forums [NSFW] areas are only viewable to registered users and may be further restricted by roles required to access specific areas. In general, if you choose to use an avatar that you do not wish the world to see, please limit your posts to the [NSFW] forums.
This website and especially the forums are intended for adults aged 18+. No age verification is required, as the site does not contain a majority of sexually related materials. However, that content IS allowed. Please read the posting rules for each section and follow those guidelines to post in them.
We do allow avatars that are rated up to “R” suitable for adults 17+ which would allow for nudity (if you dare).
Make sure your gravitar image is rated appropriately.
